    Hair Extensions

    Find an extension colour that is as close as possible to your natural hair around half way down the strand, rather than at the root or tip. We always recommend you get in touch with our team for a colour matching service to ensure you get extensions that look flawless. We can colour match you online. Find out more here.

    We do get products back in stock on a regular basis.

    Yes, and we encourage you to mix and match different tape-in styles. Superior Hair recommends  placing an ultra seamless on the bottom of your hair and then an invisi tape-in on the top for finer hair. This creates the perfect undetectable look. 

    Sandwiching two Invisi tape-ins can sometimes be too thick for some as the bond has hair, making it thicker. Ultra Seamless are extremely flexible and so discreet in the hair, making the perfect blend. 

    Our traditional weft hair extension is our original weft product and is machine made. Alternatively, our hand- tied weft is hand sewn with a much finer track. Traditional wefts can be cut to size, where hand-tied wefts come pre-cut. Superior Hair recommends our hand tied weft for finer hair  as it is discreet and lightweight on the scalp.

    You’re welcome to send us a photo of your hair taken in natural lighting and our experts would be happy to colour match for you. Alternatively, check out our colour guide, or you can purchase both and using the test strand supplied, you can choose the better fit and return your other set for a refund.

    Beautiful results are super easy to achieve with both of these methods, but the difference is in the application technique. If you love spending time doing your hair in front of the mirror - clip ins may be your best choice. If you are always on the run, try a halo extension.

    Seamless clip in set: 10 pc, 20inch (180g) - add length for an affordable price

    Classic clip in regular set: 9pc, 16inch (100g), 20inch (120g), 22inch (120g) and 26inch (150g) - Add great volume 

    • Application: wefts with a lace or silicone are applied using clips to secure 

    • Application time: with middle skill level, these can be applied in a few minutes

    • Hair type: suitable for a range of thicknesses

    • Hair length: your hair should be at least 6-7 inches long (which is around shoulder length).

    • Hair styles: high ponytail, up-dos, buns, all are possible 


    Our Classic halo collection - Lengths, weight and pieces: 


    20 Inch (180g) includes one halo weft plus 2 additional clip on wefts. 

    • Application: Halo weft applied use a nylon wire with extra clips for security + 2 clip wefts to help blend in the hair that frames your face

    • Application time: middle skill level and can be applied in a few minutes

    • Hair type: suitable for thin – medium and thick hair

    • Hair length: Your hair should be below shoulder-length (medium to long length).

    • Hair styles: Suitable for down or half down styles, experiment with sliding the halo for one side for side braids and ponytails 

    Our hair extensions are made from Remy 100% human hair, so you can style them with hot tools as often as you would style your own hair. It is super important to always use a heat protector on both your extension and your natural hair to prevent damage.

    Yes! All our hair extensions are made from high-quality human hair - meaning that

    they can be dyed easily to match your natural hair perfectly. While you can dye

    the extensions, we recommend avoiding any chemical treatments as the hair has

    been processed and sterilised.  

    Try to choose a shade closest to your natural hair color so there’s no need to dye it.

    If you do need to, opt for a semi-permanent color or color conditioner. We also suggest testing the dye on a few strands to ensure the final result is what you want. While you can use dye, we take no responsibility for any damage caused by dying your hair extensions.

    1. Always brush your extensions before you wash them. 


    2. Prepare a clean sink or bowl with lukewarm water

    3. Pump 2 or 3 dollops of paraben, sulphate, alcohol and keratin free shampoo into the water and dissolve.

    4. Shampoo each extensions separately by holding the bond and dipping the hair into the water. Massage gently with light strokes 

    5. Follow up with conditioner on the mids and ends. Leave them on a towel for around 15 minutes before rinsing. 

    6. Apply a deep conditioner or hair mask and leave them overnight

    7. Rinse each extension the following morning in warm water

    8. Allow them to air dry, or use heat protectant and a hair dryerRemember: always use a shampoo that is paraben, sulphate, alcohol and keratin free. Only condition the mids and ends of your extensions. Following these rules will extend the life of your extensions.

We also have an FAQ page to answer all questions you may have. If you can’t find the answers you are looking for , shoot us an e-mail or feel free to DM us on any of our socials.

    When your order has been dispatched, your order confirmation will connect you through to the courier provider, so we are not able to help much after the parcel has left our warehouse. We recommend getting in touch with the courier as they will be able to check the status of and track down parcels.

    You will need to first reach out to the courier provider so they can lodge an investigation into what has happened. After that, the courier provider will let you know if your parcel is missing. If you find yourself needing to make a claim, we will help as much as we can.

    We are so sorry to hear that you have received the wrong order. Please contact customer services at info@superiorhairextensions.com and provide your order number and we will assist you further. We are happy to cover return costs to us so we can get your correct order on the way.

    If you think you were double-charged, our support team will be happy to help. Please email us at info@superiorhairextensions.com and provide us with your order number, amount and payment method so we can return the second charge to you.

    Shipping and Delivery

    All orders will be shipped within 24 hours after the order is placed and payment is successfully completed. We use Australia Post standard tracked service at your cost.

    Australia Post parcels are normally delivered in 1-3 business days. For rural deliveries you should allow 3 working days. Express delivery is available at an extra cost at checkout.

    MONDAY - FRIDAY orders placed before 2pm have same day shipping.

    Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be sent Monday.

    You can track your parcel using the tracking number in your email. Alternatively, email info@superiorhairextensions.com for more information on your order.

    You should have received your tracking details alongside the email confirmation!

    If your parcel hasn't arrived within the expected time frame, please contact us immediately as it is much easier to find lost or missing parcels within a few days of sending them than several weeks later. Alternatively, you may find keeping your track and trace handy and giving Australia Post a call can be quick too!

    As long as you have not recieved a dispatch email, please email info@superiorhairextensions.com with your order number and the correct address. We will try our best to have this corrected. If for any reason we cannot, we recommend to contact Courier Post with your tracking number to have your parcel redirected.

    Exchange and Refund Policy

    Once we have received your extensions back, and have confirmed that they are in acceptable condition, you can choose to exchange them or receive a refund (minus shipping costs)

    After you submit your request, we will process it as soon as we can. If we have any issues or questions, we will contact you. Otherwise, we will go ahead and process your request. If you have any questions please send an email to info@superiorhairextensions.com

    For orders made using Afterpay or Laybuy, will incur a 5% Restocking fee. Any payments will be refunded and any scheduled payments will be cancelled. Usually these financial institutions take around 3-5 Business days to process, however, it may take longer. Please allow up to 7 business days for your financial institution to reflect the refund on your statement prior to contacting us.

    Once we receive your order, we usually reach out in 48-72 hours to get the issue sorted. 

    We recommend when sending a product back for an exchange/return to opt for tracked delivery so you can keep track of where your item is. If anything happens to your item on its way to us, the courier company is liable for this and we unfortunately will not be able to honour the exchange/return.

    Sometimes you purchase an item that isn’t quite right, so we’ve made sure it’s easy to make an exchange. Ship back your current set of extensions and let us know what you'd like an exchange via e-mail or over the phone. We’ll get you set up with a new order docket. Please note that courier costs for returns are covered by the customer.

    If a product is unopened we can exchange or refund, however, any product tampered with will not be accepted as it goes against our hygiene policies.

    Our online training includes sectioning, application, and removal techniques which you can practice at home using your own model or a mannequin head! We also show you colour and cutting techniques that are important for creating flawless results.

    Full online training will include learning all methods of hair extension installation. All start up kits are included which will cover the necessities needed to master extensions.

    Yes, we do recommend only people with some experience in hairdressing take advantage of our training courses. A basic understanding of hair fundamentals is important to get the most out of these courses. 

    Yes, you receive an e-certificate of completion for any online training with Superior Hair.

    Superior Hair online training courses comes with a starter kit with everything you need to learn the basics. For each method that you purchase, Superior Hair we provide everything that you need including all the hair and tools for every method. You will get an introduction to the method, consultation guides, installation, maintenance, and thorough instruction on cutting in and finishing off the look. 

    If you would only like to learn a selected method, you can purchase this individually. However, our ‘buy three get one free’ option will get you the full four method training.
